Privacy Policy
Effective September 21, 2026
TTS Decksmith (“the app”, “we”) is a free tool at ttsdecksmith.com for building Magic: The Gathering Commander decks and exporting them to Tabletop Simulator. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
- No accounts. You never create an account or give us a password.
- Your decks stay on your device unless you turn on Google Drive sync, in which case they go to your own Google Drive — never to our servers.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your information.
Information stored on your device
Your decks, card selections, custom artwork links, favorites, and display settings (such as your chosen color theme) are saved in your web browser’s local storage and IndexedDB on your own device. We cannot see this data. It stays until you delete it — for example with Settings → Wipe All Data or by clearing your browser’s site data. Backups you download are saved wherever you choose.
Google Drive sync (optional)
If you choose to connect Google Drive, the app can keep a copy of your decks in your Google Drive so you can open them on other devices.
- Sign-in is handled entirely by Google. Google shows its own sign-in and consent screens. We never receive your Google password.
- What we access. The app requests only the
drive.filepermission, which lets it see and change only the files the app itself creates — a single file namedTTS Decksmith decks.json. It cannot see, read, or change any other file in your Drive. To show which account is connected, the app also reads your Google account’s name and email address. - How it is used. This information is used only to save your decks to that file, load them back, and show you which account is connected. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
- Where it goes. Your decks travel directly between your browser and Google. They are never sent to, stored on, or passed through our servers, and we never share them with anyone.
- What the app keeps. Google’s short-lived access token is held only in the open browser tab and is never saved. The app remembers, in your browser, that sync is on, your account’s email address (to reconnect to the same account), and the ID of the deck file.
- Stopping. Choose Disconnect in Settings to revoke the app’s access. You can also remove access at any time from your Google Account permissions. The deck file stays in your Drive until you delete it.
TTS Decksmith’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Services your browser connects to
To work, the app loads information from these services directly from your browser. Like any website, they receive your IP address and standard browser information when your browser contacts them, under their own privacy policies:
- Scryfall (
scryfall.com) — card search, card details, and card images. Your searches and the card names in lists you import are sent to Scryfall to look up the cards. - Google Fonts — the icon font used by the interface.
- Imgur — the default card-back image, and any image links you add yourself.
- Google — only if you use Google Drive sync, as described above.
Links to other sites, such as EDHREC, are only visited if you click them.
Importing decks from a link
When you paste a link to a public deck on a site such as Moxfield or Archidekt, our server at ttsdecksmith.com/api/deck fetches that public deck on your behalf, because those sites do not allow browsers to fetch decks directly. The fetched deck is passed back to your browser and is not stored, except that a copy may be cached for up to five minutes to avoid fetching the same deck repeatedly.
Hosting and server logs
The app is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare processes technical information about requests — such as IP address, browser type, and the page or deck link requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Requests to the deck-import service may be logged briefly for troubleshooting and are deleted automatically on a short, rolling basis. We do not use these logs to identify or track you. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
